I used to maintain the 3M M79 machines at Olympic Studios and when I left and the Mincom operation was disbanded in the UK I took it over via a couple of other people. I have over 8 tons of 3M spares, mainly for the M79s but some parts for the M56 and M23. I keep the stock up and have parts made and sourced. EG. M672 chips for the signal cards, stock over 500. EOT sensor for deck, over 100. Fairchild 2N4343 switching Fet, over 5000. 1N270 diodes for logic board, lots. Switching transistors for logic board, lots of both flavours. Rubber covered reversing idlers and pinch rollers, new in stock. Bearing s for deck etc..... You get the idea. plus I have machines that I break and restore.
