I have an original extender for the logic board.  They are not such a problem as you might think.  You need a Huntron Tracker to find faults.  It shows component signatures on a small CRT.  One can check all the diodes on the board in about 2 to 3 minutes...  saves a lot of time.  On the capstan board always chenk the 5 volt regulator.  they go leaky and the extra volts on the DTL logic blows it up.  I have those in stock as well!  Tip for setting the wow and flutter on the capstan...  connect your wow and flutter meter to the pulse output and varispeed the motor until you get the 3kHz or 3.15kHz output and then you can adjust the flutter plate on the motor without any trouble.  Also ignore the blurb in the manual and go to the relevant mod sheet for setup instructions.
